Selections

Before we begin: a word about selections. Living in a big metropolitan city area is a double edged sword. On one hand, we have easy access to world class museums, incredible free events all the time, close to family, great jobs, and great public transit. On the other hand, it means paying for the luxury of living in a great city.

Housing market reality check: what you can afford in Washington, DC compared to the rest of the country.
Ok, that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but not much! All of which is to say, we certainly appreciate all of the bells and whistles that Ryan Homes and NVR allow you to add on to your home, but in order to stick to our budget, we didn't do a whole lot of upgrades.

Anyway, with that out of the way, here's what we chose.
